TabTrade.com - Is It Worth Opening an Account

Tab Trade - The Short Version

Tab Trade went live in Q1 2026. CFD broker registered in Saint Lucia, under Saint Lucia's FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, a New Zealand-regulated broker.

His background tells you something. It says the leadership has actually done this before. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. It is preferable to a founder with no industry background.

They launched with Equinix data centre access in London. Same data centres institutional desks use. The typical new launch leads with marketing and bonuses. Tab Trade did the opposite. Unusual for a new broker.

What you can trade: forex, stock indices, gold, silver, commodities, shares, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For a platform that launched in March 2026, that range is broad.

What You Trade On

You get: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Both MT5 and cTrader from the same login. Most brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Access to both matters. Pick what suits your style.

MetaTrader 5 is the default. Full charting, EAs, huge user base. If you know MT4 or MT5 previously, there are no surprises.

cTrader is the cleaner option. Cleaner order book. Faster charting. Built-in algo trading. Plenty of traders prefer it after comparing.

FIX API is offered for algo traders but needs the VIP tier ($25k minimum). TradingView is said to be coming. That will make the platform set when it lands.

What You Pay

Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. No commission. Straightforward. Zero deposit requirement. Suits people who want simple pricing.

Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the actual interbank spread is often under 0.2 pips. So your actual cost per trade sometimes sits under half a pip. That is good for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that offer pricing like this want $500 or more to open. TabTrade has no minimum.

VIP account. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, faster fills, negotiated fees. Not for the average person. Skip it unless you move real size.

Execution Speed

This is the area where Tab Trade separates from most new launches. Equinix servers in London. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. These are institutional numbers. Most retail brokers run a much wider range.

Does this affect you? If you trade small timeframes, it does. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you trade higher timeframes, you probably will not feel it. What matters is the setup is serious. That says something about priorities.

Combine that execution speed with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and what you get is strong. Few brokers in this bracket offer execution like this.

Regulation

Now, the part that matters. Tab Trade is under Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is offshore. No CySEC. No investor compensation scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a problem for you, look elsewhere. Plenty of FCA-regulated options out there.

But. The person running it came from BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The server placement is expensive. Dodgy operations do not bother with Equinix connectivity. This does not replace tier-1 regulation. But be part of your decision.

The deal: you trade regulatory safety. What you get instead: high leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether this deal works depends on you.

The Bonus

TabTrade runs a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Typical welcome offer. You fund your account, they credit extra capital. Standard terms apply: trading volume requirements before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Read the conditions before you commit.
